- I had to use a desk lamp for extra light, and I was limited to where I could put it. I perhaps should have tried moving it farther away so that the wood of the shelf looked better.
- I tried some pictures straight on, and some with the tray open. I like the angle on this.

Keith was excited to receive our new purchase today, so he suggested I take a picture:50mm, f/1.8, 1/60s, ISO 1250

The angle is good. But I don't think adjusting your light source would have helped the slightly washed-out wood. This is one of those cases where HDR is a good option—it's difficult to get a good detailed exposure on something that dark without washing out anything lighter.
ReplyDeleteEven though recordable DVD players are increasingly selling more, France has strict rules in place to avoid people making backup copies of their discs. Just as in the case of high definition DVD players, you can find DVDs almost everywhere in France. There is one problem though with French videos and DVDs. They sometimes don't play in other countries, thanks to the video format. The French use the SECAM format, when compared to North American countries that use NTSC and Australia which uses PAL. France comes under the zone 2, as far as DVD regional coding goes. A code free DVD player would be able to play it though in other countries. wonnie dual player reviews
